Product Design students making furniture from fallen tree
Students in the UO's product design program are making the ultimate sustainable project - making furniture from a fallen tree that last spring fell on the UO's Provost's car.
Product design GTF and architecture graduate student, Molly Rogers, shares her passion for tennis and innovation.
Rogers is the graduate teaching fellow for the "Design for Use" classes offered in the UO's new product design program.

University of Oregon in Portland
BFA DEGREE

The optional Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Portland provides advanced undergraduate students with a full-time, one-year academic program. Each student enrolls in combinations of Internship, Studio/Seminar, and History/Theory courses during the three-term academic year. The internship experience puts students in direct contact with area product design professionals. Internship opportunities have already been created with Intel, Gucci Group, and Ziba Design. Many other design firms and manufacturers are soon to join that roster. In addition, students can intern at the program's Digital Fusion Lab for research and development experience at the UO Portland. All BFA students will present their final projects at a year-end event.
